                       ~Ada Bloodsworth~

 

   

   Ada Bloodsworth is the ninth child of Newton Berry and Ellen (Baggett) Bloodsworth.  She was born on December 03, 1897 in Wallace, Escambia Co. Alabama and died in 1984 in Bluff Springs, Escambia Co. Florida at the age of 87. She is buried in Crary Memorial Cemetery. She was the wife of Thomas Jefferson Darby (1897-1959) and married on October 16, 1918 in Range, Conecuh Co. Alabama.

 

   Thomas is the son of William Thomas Darby and Mary Francis Kent who are from Santa Rosa Co. Florida, then later migrated to Monroe Co. Alabama. Thomas served in World War I and according to his draft card, he was 20 years oldtall, medium build with brown eyes and black hair. 

 

   Ada and Thomas Darby were the parents of five children, two sons and three daughters.
