~Elton Lee "Shorty" Bloodsworth~

 

   Elton was the first and only son of Newton Berry and Margaret "Maggie" (Henderson) Bloodsworth. He was born on November 21, 1919 in Butler Co. Alabama and died on April 12, 1985 in Winter Haven, Polk Co. Florida at the age of 65. He is buried in the Lakeside Memorial Park Cemetery. 

 

   He married Maudie Mae Holly (1911-1982) on December 20, 1947 in Polk Co. Florida. Records indicate that they divorced on May 16, 1975 in Polk Co. Florida. If this marriage presented any children, I am not aware of any and encourage anyone who might know one way or another to please notify me.
