   Posey is the tenth child of Newton Berry and Ellen (Baggett) Bloodsworth. He was born on April 14, 1899 in Wallace, Escambia Co. Alabama and died on July 24, 1917 in McKenzie, Butler Co. Alabama at 18 years old. He never married. 

 

   He was only listed on one census record, 1910 Owens, Escambia Co. Florida at age 10.
